This stud colt is by
Keep It Real, a top Standardbred racing stud
in Indiana. His foals are proving themselves on the
track this season. His dam is
Ugly Betty Power, who despite her name, is a
beautiful Tennessee Walking Horse mare. Lock And Load
has two top bred parents and has the looks to prove it.
He is fast in the pasture and simply leaves his older
cousins in the dirt when they play. He is a beautiful
blood bay that doesn't fade in the sun and he will
sometimes let you touch him in the pasture. A rare thing
for a 5 day old colt. He travels across the pasture with
his head in the air and his tail over his back. It is
quite a sight. He will stand about 15.1 when grown and
weigh about a 1000 pounds. He is eligible for
registration with the RHBAA Speed Racking Association and the
Racking Horse Breeders Association. He will be hard to beat on
those Sunday afternoon races. Foaled 07/01/2020.
